Abstract

This study conducted an integrative review (2000–2025) on the men-tal health and well-being of Indigenous women, identifying psychoso-cial, cultural, and environmental factors linked to psychological distress. Analysis of 22 studies revealed a lack of gender-focused re-search and dominance of Western frameworks. It highlights the need for intercultural and communicative approaches sensitive to these wo-men’s specificities.
